Different Groups, One Magic Country: My Journey Hosting Trips to Thailand
If there’s one destination that holds a truly permanent piece of my heart, it’s Thailand. Over the years, I’ve had the absolute joy of hosting three completely different types of group trips here, and every single time, watching the magic unfold leaves me in awe.
I’ve watched women who first met on a wellness retreat form bonds so deep they came back together for a Thailand reunion, bringing new sisters into the fold. I’ve hosted multi-hub squads where couples from Denver and San Francisco merged effortlessly with single crews from New York, New Jersey, and Miami, turning a mix of distinct friend groups into one giant family. And I’ve seen colleagues step away from corporate burnout on a shared sabbatical, using Thailand’s sacred energy to completely reset.
That is the beauty of this place - it meets every group right where they are.
Our Signature Groove Trips Rhythm
When we craft a Thailand experience, we follow a flow designed to ignite your senses first, ground your soul second, and let you completely power down last:
Bangkok (The Energy & The Eats):
We dive headfirst into the electric city. We take sunset tuk-tuk rides straight into Chinatown for epic street food, wander through the 24-hour flower markets, stand in awe before the 46-meter Reclining Buddha, and end our nights sipping cocktails high above the skyline.
Chiang Mai (The Soul & The Sanctuary):
Heading north to the misty mountains, the pace slows down. We stay at Rachamankha—a serene oasis of traditional Lanna architecture nestled near the river—where we spend our days cooking local dishes, climbing the Sticky Waterfalls, and visiting Elephant Nature Park. Returning year after year to support their ethical rescue efforts and seeing new elephant babies born is a highlight I will cherish forever.
Phuket & Beyond (The Paradise Finish):
We wrap up by the sea, staying in private hillside villas around Kata and Karon, or heading north to Laguna and Surin for high-end coastal luxury and day clubs. And for those who truly want to disconnect, taking two days to retreat to a floating village- with just your journal, a good book, and the quiet water - is pure magic.
Why We Go in the Fall?
Timing is everything! We intentionally host our fall trips right at the end of October and early November. The monsoon season has just cleared out, leaving the landscapes brilliantly green, the air fresh and comfortable, and the skies bright and clear. It’s hands-down the sweetest time to experience the country.
