Jannelle is a second-generation travel professional and first-generation Dominican-American entrepreneur who has masterfully woven together her two lifelong passions: dance and travel. After a 20-year career as a choreographer in New York City, she founded GrooveTrips to create immersive, culturally rich travel experiences for artists and adventurers.
Her Mission: To advocate for travelers of color by crafting journeys that are safe, welcoming, and deeply connected to local communities. Through GrooveTrips, she has led groups to destinations like Cuba, Egypt, Turkey, and Spain, collaborating with local vendors and wellness professionals to promote sustainable and transformative travel.
Jannelle is also a proud Brand Ambassador for Capezio in Cuba and a correspondent for CaribbeanOneTV, using her platform to elevate diverse voices in the travel and arts industries.
